The process of etching and aquatinting is all consuming, meditate, smelly and you have to draw everything in reverse (like most printmaking) so its often perplexing. The prints are mainly cones of different kinds. They are isolated, complete forms. I’m not sure I know why I chose them, probably for their visual appeal, sense of pattern but also for their ability to stand alone and their strangeness.
